Open Report: Bespoke – AAPL Update on Refresh Cycles and Market Share

Our surveys have shown that Apple has over-time increasingly relied on its existing install base for unit sales, but its existing user base has been stretching refresh cycles overall (worse than non-iPhone smartphone owners).

We think it is an interesting dynamic to be aware of, but also to take note of the rate at which iPhone refresh cycles have been stretching (more accelerated from Jul (16) to Jul (17) than a moderated rate more recently).

By virtue of having so much history in our charts, the insights are pretty interesting.
