Open Reports:

Key Takeaways:

  • DPZ | Engagement was mostly flat/consistent with prior quarters. Feedback continues to be positive/constructive toward the mobile app. Third party food delivery app ordering frequency among DPZ customers who use those apps has held relatively consistent in the last year. Third party food delivery apps have some impact on Domino’s customers. but the % who say it negatively impacts their Domino’s ordering is improved vs. series worsts. Like all other restaurants in our survey, customers of Domino’s are noticing increased prices. However, it is worth noting that among a large basket of peers the % calling out price increases at Domino’s is on the lower end of the range.
  •  CMG | Self-reported engagement is tracking mostly unchanged q/q and y/y. In-store orders have increased of late, while orders through third party apps showed some deceleration q/q (despite gains over time). Customer satisfaction remains positive and those who tried the plant based chorizo offered positive reviews.
  • SBUX | Coffee consumption increased sequentially. Hot coffee still leads other coffee type categories. Perhaps due to seasonality, iced/cold varieties have ceded ground of late to hot. Self-reported engagement at SBUX worsened a bit q/q, but coffee drinkers broadly continue to show a preference for chains (like SBUX and DNKN) over local chains.
