- Respondents who are concerned with Covid-19 and those who are working from home are among the cohorts with the most positive/favorable views of online dating.
- Respondents in the 25-44 age bracket and higher income ($100k) have a higher number of online dating apps downloaded on their phone relative to other age bands and income bands.
Tinder and Zooks have the highest percentage of respondents who have ever used the platforms who are currently still actively using online dating. Match has the highest % who have used the platform at some point and no longer use online dating any longer. - Sentiment toward Match and Tinder has been mostly flat over time among those who have ever used it, and is net positive among active users. Sentiment toward Plenty of Fish is net negative.
- Among those paying for Tinder, a majority expect to continue paying for 4-6 months longer or more.
